This tour was produced in West Texas where 25% of U.S. cotton is grown.  See cotton bolls harvested and unloaded at the gin, where they undergo drying, cleaning, burr and seed removal, batting and baling.

In the second part of the video, travel to the American Cotton Growers denim mill where cotton bales are cleaned, combed, spun into yarn, dyed indigo blue, and woven into denim fabric.  The fabric is then pre-shrunk, rolled and shipped to Levi Strauss to be made into blue jeans. Very thorough coverage! Includes study guide.
